As part of its research and development project into domestic micro-combined heat and power (mCHP) appliances, British Gas commissioned AVL Ltd as Project Managers on a turnkey basis to source, provide and fit out a test facility and associated services and data acquisition systems. BCA were brought into the project by AVL as specialist designers in relation to the extensive installations of the gas, water, electrical and flue systems to serve a complex array of test beds for the differing boilers under development.
